On May 18th, 2007, Leif William McFerson had surgery to correct his Pyloric Stenosis. The surgery was pretty straight forward, and Leif, as of the morning of May 19th, 2007, is back on breast milk.

Dr. German, a history buff, performed the surgery, and cut Leif's bandage into the shape of a Mariner's Compass. The good doctor was shocked to learn that most people Leif's mom and dad encounter have never heard of Leif Ericson.
