Here are some finer points regarding the photo to the right:

- Dad, Ian, and Hyde, stood in line for 45 miserable minutes at South Coast Plaza immediately preceding this.

- Mom was at school studying for her 'final' final during this madness.

- Alison finished her Bachelors in Accountancy from Cal State Long Beach literally 3 hours after this photo was taken.

- This never got sent out, thanks to the professors at the aforementioned institution, and a preoccupied (read: slacker) father.

- It was worth it.

Family and friends, sorry for the lack of Christmas card -- we'll try to make it up to you next year. Except next year, they'll be 3 little boys sitting on Santa's lap. I hope he can handle it.
